Every technique and activity can be adapted and adjusted for each person's ability. As long as you have an interest, maturity, passion, and an open-mind, we will always be there to support your learning and training journey.
WHAT ARE THE CLASSES LIKE?
We believe that Tae Kwon Do builds relationships, so adults and children usually train together in the same class. We have 1 to 1.5 hour classes which usually involves warm-ups, kicking, blocking, hand techniques, poomsae (forms), self-defense and sparring. We will also occasionally have guest expert instructors who will cover self-defense and other specialties to broaden students skills and learning experience.
All students will also be enrolled online through Google Classroom to further enhance their knowledge and follow their rank curriculum as well as have access to training videos to practice at home or anywhere. We are serious about educating our future leaders, masters, and grandmasters.
You always get a free trial class, so please try it out first.
WHAT IS SPARRING LIKE?

If you have an injury or if you do not want to spar, we will respect your decision. If you want compete in tournaments and strengthen your sparring skills, we will also support you. Sparring is only one aspect of Tae Kwon Do. The real fight is fighting yourself: focus on challenging yourself, competing with yourself, and lifting yourself to your greatest potential.
WHAT DO I NEED TO HAVE TO START TAE KWON DO?
We are a traditional Tae Kwon Do school, and we do have formal uniform requirements (dobok) for students. You can buy uniforms and supplies needed for Tae Kwon Do from us. We recommend not purchasing everything until you try a few classes out, so if you don't have a uniform, you can still train in comfortable/relaxed clothes.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME A BLACK BELT?
Having a black belt does not define your Tae Kwon Do journey. Each student will have different timelines. We offer color belt promotion testing every three months, but it doesn't mean you test every time. You test when you feel you are ready and with your instructor's support. In general, a first dan black belt's journey takes several years. There are official requirements set by the Kukkiwon and the World Tae Kwon Do (Federation) for black belt certifications. The ultimate goal is to build skill, confidence, knowledge, leadership, and health--something that you can take with you on your journey anywhere.
