REOPENING SPRING 2026
We have taught kids as young as four years old and adults who are in their 60s and 70s. There aren't age limitations in Tae Kwon Do. Every technique and activity can be adapted and adjusted for each person's ability. As long as you have an interest, maturity, passion, and an open-mind, we will always be there to support your learning and training journey.
We believe that Tae Kwon Do builds relationships, so adults and children usually train together in the same class. We have classes which usually involves warm-ups, kicking, blocking, hand techniques, poomsae (forms), self-defense and sparring.
All students will also be enrolled online through Google Classroom to further enhance their knowledge and follow their rank curriculum as well as have access to training videos to practice at home or anywhere. We are serious about educating our future leaders, masters, and grandmasters.
You always get a free trial class, so please try it out first.
Our focus in on the safety of all of our students. Students will wear protective head gear and paired with other students to spar. Tae Kwon Do focuses on self-control and respect. If you have an injury or if you do not want to spar, we will respect your decision. If you want compete in tournaments and strengthen your sparring skills, we will also support you. Sparring is only one aspect of Tae Kwon Do. The real fight is fighting yourself: focus on challenging yourself, competing with yourself, and lifting yourself to your greatest potential.
We are a traditional Tae Kwon Do school, and we do have formal uniform requirements (dobok) for students. We recommend not purchasing everything until you try a few classes out, so if you don't have a uniform, you can still train in comfortable/relaxed clothes.
Having a black belt does not define your Tae Kwon Do journey. Each student will have different timelines. We offer color belt promotion testing every three months, but it doesn't mean you test every time. You test when you feel you are ready and with your instructor's support. In general, a first dan black belt's journey takes several years. There are official requirements set by the Kukkiwon and the World Tae Kwon Do (Federation) for black belt certifications. The ultimate goal is to build skill, confidence, knowledge, leadership, and health--something that you can take with you on your journey anywhere.
We respect every form of martial arts as well as a person's dedication and training experience. We can evaluate and access all your learning experiences as well as help you accelerate your Tae Kwon Do journey to reflect your skills, knowledge, and expertise.
